Collaborating with the developer, we secured full planning permission and preserved the building’s character by keeping exposed beams, concrete ceilings, and steel windows. The design included a large living room, two bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom with a steam room shower. The walnut floor finish and industrial fixtures added to the overall ambiance. The project was completed in 16 weeks and sold for a record price per m² in that area.

New sash windows and a timber front door were introduced, and planning was approved by Islington Council. The basement features a bedroom, study, and bathroom with built-in storage, while the ground floor has a big living area and kitchen with raised wall panels and ceiling coving. The chimney breast is clad in a warm copper tile with an inset gel fire, and clever built-in storage is included under the staircase.
